William Philmore Sexton Jr., 55, of Vine Grove, KY passed away Friday, June 6, 2024 at the University of Louisville Hospital.

William was adventurous, handy and known for his humor. He worked for 30 years as a self employed mechanic. His natural talent and dedication to his craft earned him a reputation as a reliable and skilled professional.

He was preceded in death by his father, William Philmore Sexton Sr; his mother, Cora Lee Stephens; and a brother, Timothy Keeton.

Survivors include four children, Jennifer Mount (Josh), Corina Simpson (J.R.), Michael Hannah (Tori), Tabetha Hannah; twenty grandchildren, Mikey, Riley Bella, Nessie, Colt, William, James, Alexandria, Bruce, Alston, Chaz, Kailey, Zack, Alexis, Srylyn, Oaklyn, Nevaeh, Heaven, Maritta, Novace; two nieces, Kendra, Meghan; one nephew, TJ; a sister in law, Michelle Dawson; and a host of extended family & friends.

Visitation will be from 10:30 AM until 12:00 PM, Thursday, June 13, 2024 at Chism Family Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY.

Funeral services for Mr. Sexton will be held at 12:00, PM, Thursday, June 13, 2024 at the chapel of Chism Family Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY with Rick Ingersoll officiating. Burial will follow in the Otter Creek Cemetery, Vine Grove, KY.
