Willie Ray

David Glenn "Willie" Ray, a beloved brother and friend, passed away in his hometown of Vine Grove, Kentucky on September 3, 2023. He was born on June 22, 1959, in Hardin County, Kentucky to the late Ollie James and Margaret Leona Ray. Known for his selfless, friendly, and spirited nature, David touched the lives of many with his infectious smile and generous heart.

David, also known as "Willie", was the kind of person who never hesitated to lend a helping hand. He was preceded in death by four of his siblings, Joseph H. Ray, Cleo Clem, Steve Ray, and Daniel Ray. However, his memory lives on through his surviving eight siblings: James B. Ray, Charles M. Ray, Matthew R. Ray, Michael R. Ray, Shirley L. Garrett, Mary C. Portwood, Marie Anderson, and Millie Underwood, along with a host of extended family and friends who will always remember him fondly.

David was a man of many talents, but one of his greatest passions was working with his hands. He found great joy in small engine repair and working on bicycles. His dedication and skill were evident to anyone who saw him at work, and he took immense pride in his ability to fix and restore.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, October 21, 2023 at the St. Brigid Reception Hall.
