Barbara Nell Stigall Cross, 95, formerly of Radcliff, KY passed away Sunday, December 24, 2017 at the Gulf Breeze Courtyard Assisted Living, Gulf Breeze, FL.

Her memberships include: Stovall United Methodist Church, Radcliff, KY, Retired Teachers Association; Larue County Homemakers Association; Hardin County Extension Homemakers’ where she was a four time past president, club vice president, secretary/treasurer two times area level &  two times county level; Kentucky Colonel; life member of Order of Eastern Star for over 50 years; Certified Master Knitter having formed the knitting group Knit Wits.

Mrs. Cross had received the Volunteer Service Award for Homemakers in Kentucky who volunteered over 500 hours, and received 16 volunteer units awards from Hardin County Extension Homemakers. She  previously volunteered at the North Hardin Library for 24 years and at Longview Florist when needed.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Clinton Cross, Jr.; one son, Robert Clinton Cross, III; and her parents, Irma Ford & Raymond (Stig) Stigall of Paducah.

Survivors include:
Three children, Raymond Lee Cross & his wife, Judy of Nicholasville, KY, Nancy R. Cross-Wilder & her husband, Lynn of Monroe, NC, Peggy Lynn Kirby & her husband, Doug of Pensacola, FL; nine grandchildren;  twenty three great grandchildren; four great great grandchild; a daughter in law, Judy Johnson Cross; and a host of family & friends.

Visitation will be from 2:30 PM until 4:00 PM Saturday at Coffey & Chism Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY.

Funeral services for Mrs. Cross will be held at 4:00 PM, Saturday, December 30, 2017 at the chapel of Coffey & Chism Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY with Rev. Ken Jessee officiating. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, December 31, 2017 at Barlow Cemetery, Barlow, KY.
