Melissa : you will be truly missed by all of us from NHHS Class of 83. You always had sweet smile, and could turn a day that was not going right, into a day that we could look back and get a laugh out of it with a good word, a smile and a funny comment. GOD has brought you home now, and you now have a new role..... Guardian Angel. We will miss you very much. Rest in Sweet Peace my dear friend and classmate. Jimmy Johnson nhhs-83

Message from Sally Ingle - January 17, 2016 at 06:58 PM

Melissa and I used to walk at lunchtime and one day I was getting ready for a retirement party for my boss and as we walked past the golf course I told her I could do something for the party with these stray golf balls, we started stuffing pockets until they could hold no more and then tented our shirts and filled them up as high as we could and still kept walking. People driving by just looked at us so strange but we just laughed and laughed. I will miss her laugh the most.

So sorry to hear of your passing it seems unreal. I Remember all the good times we had together growing up at the ball park in Vine Grove. Great times. You were a sweet person and had a smile that would lite up a room. You touched so many and you will be deeply missed. The is is not good bye my friend. We will see each other again one day in glory. You told me you were saved when we were teens so I take comfort in that. Love you my dear sweet friend. Judy.

Message from Ken Christian - January 18, 2016 at 06:51 AM

My sincerest condolences to Melissa's family and friends. I'm an instructor at CTC so I saw her every Tuesday and Thursday. Melissa was ALWAYS bright, cheerful, professional and friendly. She had a dry wit and a very outgoing personality. As much as I'd like, I can't make the funeral due to another appointment. However, I'll be there in spirit. I'll miss her.Ken Christian
